Dear Madison Families,
Welcome to April! As we head into the final stretch of the school year, this is an important and exciting time for learning and growth. Students are building on their skills every day, and consistent attendance plays a key role in helping them succeed.
This month, we are launching our “Show Up and Shine Attendance Challenge!” Throughout April, each classroom will work together to achieve the highest possible average daily attendance. At the end of the month, the class with the best attendance in each grade level will earn a pizza party!
This challenge is more than just coming to school, it’s also a great opportunity for students to practice our Character Strong focus of the month: Cooperation. By working together, encouraging one another, and showing up each day, students are learning how to contribute to a shared goal and support their classmates.
We are also looking forward to welcoming families into the building for Spring Conferences. This is a valuable time to connect, celebrate your child’s progress, and partner together to support continued growth. April 22nd and 23rd are early release days to support conference scheduling. Teachers will be reaching out to families to schedule conference times by Tuesday, April 7th.
Spring is a critical time for learning new academic skills and strengthening those already in progress. Every school day matters, and being present helps students stay connected, confident, and ready to learn.
We truly appreciate your partnership and support in helping your child attend school regularly and arrive ready to shine. Together, we can make April a month of strong
attendance, teamwork, and continued growth!
Thank you for being an important part of our Madison School community.
