Families are invited to a Dr. Seuss–themed Family Dinner Night, filled with silly sights, tasty bites, and reading delights. We’ll enjoy Dr. Seuss–inspired foods and end the evening with family flashlight reading—so don’t forget to bring a flashlight!

Friday, February 27th, come one and come all,
To Madison School for a feast in the hall!

We’ll kick off Read Across America Week with flair,
With stories and silliness floating through the air!

There’ll be Roast Beast (just like the Who-ville kind!),
the Truffula Trees you’ll be happy to find!
We’ll dish the out Who Hash in a heapity-heap,
Green Eggs and Ham (try a bite — take a leap!),
They’ll be Poodles of Noodles all squiggly and swirly,
Enough for the tall folks and even the curly!

When tummies are happy and filled to the brim,
We’ll dim down the lights and let reading begin!
With flashlights that shine in the darkity-dark,
We’ll read books together — sparkity-spark!

So bring your own flashlight (don’t forget, not one bit!),
And RSVP soon so the food all will fit!

Dress up as a Seuss friend — a Who or the Grinch,
The Cat in the Hat (with a tip and a pinch!).
We can’t wait to see you — it’s sure to be neat,
With stories, with laughter, with friends, and good eats!
